Ps. Clem Fung
Clem Fung is Lead Pastor at Grace Church. He first joined our staff as an Associate Pastor in March 2006. Previously, Clem completed his Master of Divinity theological training at the Bible College of Victoria now known as Melbourne School of Theology. Prior to BCV, he spent 10 years with the missionary organisation Youth With A Mission (YWAM). His mission experience emphasised discipleship, evangelism, team building, training, and leadership development, taking him around Australia and internationally.
Clem was born in America, and grew up in the UK and Hong Kong. He attended uni in the States, before joining YWAM in Australia in 1993. He comes from a family with a wonderful Christian heritage: his dad is a retired seminary lecturer and published New Testament scholar; his two younger brothers are both ordained pastors in the US. Clem has been married to Justine since 1995, and they have three young adult children.
Ps. Tim Kerlin
Associate Pastor, GROW Groups and Pastoral Care
Tim Kerlin is Associate Pastor for our small group life and pastoral care. He also assists our Lead Pastor in executive aspects of church life as delegated to him.
Tim accepted Christ at 19 years of age while studying at the University of Queensland. He became involved in ministry through Scripture Union Beach Missions and through youth leadership at his local church. He moved to Melbourne in 1993 to work as a missionary to Aussie youth with Youth Ministries Australia (a division of Campus Crusade for Christ).
Tim joined Grace Church in November 1996, taking on the role of part-time youth worker, and began studying a Bachelor of Ministry at Bible College of Victoria (now known as Melbourne School of Theology). He finished theological studies in November 2005 and was appointed as a full-time Grace Church pastor.
Ps. Raphael "RJ" Joson
Associate Pastor, Families Ministry
RJ is Associate Pastor for the Family ministries of our church. He started on staff in 2011, moving from Sydney to Melbourne. He's been married to Rhea and they have 3 lovely kids. After spending a few years in the Australian Navy as a Technician he was called by God to turn his life around and devote his life to telling people the good news found in Jesus. He completed his B.Theology (2009) and MA.Theology (2018) at Sydney Missionary and Bible College (SMBC) in Croydon, NSW.
