Why Alpha?
Everyone has questions. We believe everyone should have the opportunity to explore life and the Christian faith. To ask questions, and share their point of view in an open, friendly environment.
Alpha is run all around the globe and a series of sessions exploring the Christian faith. Each talk looks at a different question around faith and is designed to create conversation.
We run Alpha once a year at Grace Church and would love for you to join us. No matter who you are or where you come from, everyone is welcome!

What does Alpha look like?
Connection
Alpha recognises that connections are important. Therefore, all sessions will start with a meal, providing time to connect, relax, and build friendships.
Content
The Alpha talks are designed to engage people from all walks of life and inspire conversation. The videos are designed to engage and inspire conversation. They explore life's significant questions and the fundamentals of Christian belief, addressing queries such as 'Who is Jesus?', 'Why and how do I pray?', and 'How does God guide us?'
Conversation
One of the most pivotal aspects of an Alpha session is the opportunity to share thoughts and ideas on the topic and discuss them in small group. There’s no obligation to speak, and you’re encouraged to express any thoughts openly. You can hear different opinions from others and contribute your own perspective in an honest, friendly and open environment.
